The key to successful introduction of user-friendly automation is to introduce the technology through a staged approach. By that we mean that first you provide the tools and training to the end-users, then allow them to use the basic features first before gradually moving into more complex setups. Let the projects and the problems decide on the level of complexity rather than the opposite. When and how the level of automation is stepped up all depends on the projects needs, on user's curiosity and too a smaller extent on management control.
